Review Fix chats with singer/songwriter and guitarist Richie Kotzen, who discusses his new “Essential” double CD, which consists of his best work as a solo artist as well as a DVD ofmusic videos, acoustic performances and bootlegs.
Set for a Sept. 2 release on Loud & Proud Records, “The Essential Richie Kotzen” was personally put together by Kotzen from work spanning his 18 solo albums. Kotzen, who has played in bands such as Mr. Big, Poison and The Winery Dogs, discusses the song selection process and how he believes this album will serve as a grand introduction to new fans as well.
